Competition Commission swings into action

The Competition Commission will begin the hunt for a CEO next week.

Once the CEO is appointed, the stage will be set for the establishment of the Competition Authority, the body that will investigate incidents of unfair play in the industry.

A few facts are indicative of the pace of developments: the Commission has set up an office at BOBS headquarters, has five officers seconded to it from the Ministry of Trade and Industry and is setting up its administration.
