Casino, bingo and betting licences up for grabs

The Gambling Authority has announced that they will be calling for applications from the public who want to run the casino, bingo and betting licences this month.

According to the Authority’s chief executive officer Thulisizwe Johnson, as part of their mandate they will open up Request For Application (RFA) for the bingo and betting licence on May 16 this year while those for the casinos will be open on May 10.

“We are opening RFA effective this month and I want to clarify that bidders are welcome to apply for more than one licence,” he said.
