BTC reserves millions for Botsgate

Botswana Telecommunications Corporation (BTC) has committed close to US$5 million (approximately P35 million) over the next three years to the enhancement of the country's Internet backbone, BOTSGATE.

The money will be channelled towards the improvement of network performance and to building capacity in order to allow for more services.

The Head of Wholesale Division at BTC, Duncan Pie, revealed this at a recent cocktail party hosted for customers at which he also spoke about the parastatal's 40 percent price reduction for Internet bandwidth.
