BSE appoints Sikalesele-Vaka as chairperson

The Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) has appointed Regina Sikalesele-Vika as the new Chairperson of the BSE Main Committee effective from 25 July 2014. Sikalesele-Vaka takes over from Patrick O’Flaherty.

According to a pres release, Sikalesele-Vaka is a corporate leader and is currently the founding CEO of Bramer Life Insurance, a joint venture with the Mauritian based conglomerate, British American Investment Company. She is also the founder of iNako Holdings, a citizen-owned financial services holding company.

She has accumulated a wealth of corporate governance experience as a Board Director in several listed blue Chip boards including Sechaba Breweries limited, Sefalana, Engen Botswana, Automated Security (G4S), FNB Botswana, FNB Foundation and Botswana Insurance Holdings Limited (BIHL).
