ISTANBUL: Botswana for the first time joined the rest of the continent as Africa converged in Istanbul last week for the fifth Turkey–Africa Business and Economic Forum (TABEF).

TABEF, a prestigious forum, brings together prominent representatives of public and private sector actors from both Africa and Turkey.

Botswana’s Minister of Trade and Entrepreneurship, Tiroeaone Ntsima, led a delegation of two officials including Director of International Business, Malebogo Kote and Maureen Chirengendure, principal commercial officer.
