BITC launches corporate strategies

The Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) this week officially launched its corporate and brand strategies.

BITC started operating a year ago when the former Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority (BEDIA) was merged with the Botswana International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) as a result of the Government Rationalisation Strategy.

Officiating at the launch, Minister of Trade and Industry Dorcas Makgato-Malesu said the inception of the Botswana Export Development and Investment Authority  (BEDIA) has been instrumental in generating P3,6 billion worth of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) creating 16,160 jobs.
