BHC fine-tunes planned P2-billion bond

The Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC) says it is making "the final touches" to its planned P2-billion bond to power the delivery of 29, 000 houses under NDP 10.

The final touches include engaging an investment adviser to assist in the technicalities of developing a bond, then appointing one of the country's four sponsoring brokers to produce documents required by the Botswana Stock Exchange for the floating of the bond.

On Wednesday, BHC's Public and Corporate Affairs Manager, Mookodi Seisa, said they were finalising the outsourcing of institutions that would facilitate the bond issue.
