Barclays unveils "style-based" Platinum Card

Global Banking giant, Barclays Bank of Botswana has introduced its latest banking card, Barclays Visa Platinum Credit Card to its growing clientele base.

The Barclaycard, which has been described as a style-based card offering various services was launched on Thursday in Gaborone.Speaking at the launch, Board Chairman of Barclays Bank Botswana, Rizwan Desai explained that the Barclaycard Platinum Card is catered to those who want the best in life as it offers worldwide visa offerings including the visa medical and legal referral. Desai said as Barclays Bank of Botswana, they believe in giving the best to their customers to enable them to get the most out of life, emphasising that Barclaycard would offer one diverse exciting card options, each one fully packed with irresistible benefits.

"This Barclaycard product is yet another first class that we are introducing to assert ourselves as a market leader and your most preferred banking partner,"he said.He explained that the Barclays Bank operates under 4c's,which are company, colleague, citizenship and customer, stressing that they are central to Barclays bank commitment to improving their services for the benefit of their clients. He emphasised that this has given them a better understanding of the needs of their customers, noting that even when introducing a new product or bank tariff, they ensure considerate reflection on the implications of such move to their customers.
