Anglo sells subsidiary

Botswana Stock Exchange(BSE) listed miner, Anglo American has announced that it has completed the process of selling Tarmac Building Products Limited to Lafarge Tarmac Holdings Limited.

This follows a regulatory approval. Last year, the company that owns De  Beers with Botswana, revealed it had reached an agreement to sell TBP to Lafarge Tarmac Holdings Limited, the equal joint venture of Lafarge’s and Anglo American’s construction materials and services businesses in the United Kingdom.
