Yarona FM apologises for Deep 'rip-off'

Urban youth radio station Yarona FM on Tuesday apologised for a Liquid Deep show that never was.

Night-crawlers, thirsty for the South African R&B singer of the hit track Fairy tale, flocked to Fashion Lounge in Phakalane last Saturday hoping to witness the sensation whose show in Botswana last month-end at the Lizard Lounge was a hit.

Entrance fees were hiked from P60 to P100 and then P150 towards midnight as more and more Liquid Deep fans converged on the venue, only to learn around 12 midnight that Liquid Deep was not coming after all.
