Violence against women movie attracts 500 viewers

The Premier of a violence against woman film at President hotel on Friday attracted an impressive 500 viewers, mainly the women folks. A panel discussion followed the screening of the movie where the impressive crowd seemed keen to discuss the subject.

The P100 a ticket  movie stars some of South Africa's  is well known actors and is meant to help women  have the strength to flee from abuse.The Movement is a South African movie production written and produced by upcoming film maker Nonkululeko Ndlovu with the aim to help women understand better and talk about domestic violence, why it happens band what can be done to stop.

Ndlovu  who also attended the Botswana premier, said  the movie was inspired by her experiences as a girl child, having gone through abuse twice and raped at 18 . She said  while going through her own healing process she realized that women still do not talk about domestic violence.'The movie premier was bought by the Cresta President Hotel movie night in partnership  with 79 Macheri and it's a story about a lady called Mpumi Mkhise played by Nonkululeko Ndlovu who is in love and ready to marry and give herself whole- heartedly to Themba,  played by Insika actor Tazz Ngida,  who later abused her.
