After just a day in the Big Brother Africa (BBA)-The Chase game, housemates from both the Rubies and Diamonds houses were faced with a difficult choice of having to nominate one another for possible eviction.

This Sunday at least one housemate from each house will leave after only a week in the game. Housemates up for possible eviction from the Diamonds are Denzel (Uganda), Betty (Ethiopia), and Huddah (Kenya), and from the Rubies house they are Selly (Ghana) and Natasha (Malawi).Betty and Natasha's fates however were not decided by votes as they were put in the hot seat by the heads of houses who were saving nominated housemates and putting them up instead.

Diamonds head of house Feza of Tanzania saved Elikem from Ghana, putting Betty up for possible eviction instead, who she had nominated, while Rubies head of house Beverly (Nigeria) decided to save Bassey (Sierra Leone) and put Natasha up instead.
