Stage set for new MAD School Challenge's grand finale

The first grand finale of the annual My African Dream (MAD) School Challenge that has since gone independent, takes place at the Maitisong in Gaborone today.

Competing schools include Baobab Primary School, Gaborone International School, Letlhabile Primary School, Legae Primary School, and Rainbow Primary School.  The schools will offer the audience traditional dance, marimba, choir and orchestra performances. 

Speaking to Arts & Culture yesterday, Maitisong director Rosalyn Beukes said that they decided to separate the Challenge from the MAD junior semi-finals this year because the show has over the years grown to accommodate more competitors.
