Sizzling Calvin is the star performer

My Star 2011 Friday saw a number of contestants up their game in the Battle of the Vocals, as if singing their hearts to the star who departed too early in the competition - Kaizer, who was laid to rest in Selebi-Phikwe on Sunday.

Kaizer perished in a car crash on his return to Selebi-Phikwe after his last performance in the My Star. Down to 21 contestants with Sammy having been sent packing, Towelah opened the show with It Must Have Been Love. Unlike in the last edition, she worked on her toning and polished her transitions from lower to upper codes.

She also looked the part in brown pants, with a complementary hairdo. His could not have been the lead performance vocally, but surely Calvin is one of the amazing entertainers the show has ever had. Every week, he sizzles and thrills in his own way. He did very catching dances, accompanied by facial expressions and moves that show that he does not only appear on stage as a competitor, but a powerful entertainer whose future performances could take him far.
