Segopotso kisses my star show goodbye

In a rather sad opening of My Star fifth session, 20-year-old Segopotso from Lerala left the show prematurely. If it were at school, it could have been fitting to say she kissed it goodbye at tea break.

About two weeks ago, when she made it to the Top 26 in a competition that saw multitudes audition for the mouth-watering P100, 000 cash prize and recording contract, Segopotso was over the moon just like many other contenders who got the green light for Botswana's version of American Idol's.

Now those who waited for this velvet-lined voice every Sunday will miss it - perhaps they will catch her again next year.  Surely, she is talented in that department.  However, she needed to take care of her wardrobe skills, which I guess contributed to her early exit.
