Ngoni celebrates his tapestry of confusion

Renowned painter, Wilson Ngoni is bathing in paint as his brush comes on canvas for yet another interesting display.

Themed, Son of The Brush - the artistically endowed young man's work in progress indicates that revellers will be wowed, as it is always the case. The exhibition is billed for the National Museum for two to three weeks, starting March 19. Showtime visited the iconic painter at his studio in Kopong village, northwest Gaborone, on Saturday.  Some of his finished collection proves that in an attempt to gain 'sanity', Ngoni is becoming more 'crazier'. The 'Father of the Pregnant Skeleton' losses his mind every time he marries paint and canvas. The result of the craziness is, of course, eye-catching and thought-provoking!

"My life is a tapestry of confusion, I don't understand why I paint the way I do and the things I paint," he says. With an illustrious painting career stretching over 19-and-a-half years, the son of the brush will offer a sentimental exhibition come March. Around 30 to 42 pieces of art will be showcased at the event.
