Miss Beauty Queen Francistown attracts 13 entries

FRANCISTOWN: Thirteen beauties will this weekend battle it out for the second city's Miss Beauty Queen Francistown contest to be held at the Adansonia Hotel organised by Altec-Ventures Company in a bid to support charity.

The contest that is scheduled for Saturday evening will be among the festive entertainment events around town.  One of the organisers Pearl Krish said in an interview that the contest is aimed at raising funds and support charity in and around Francistown. 

The show, which is to become an annually event, is said to be following one of the Vision 2016 pillars.  Motswedi Orphanage centre based in Mokubilo village some 100km away from Francistown along Orapa road is the charity place to benefit from the pageant's proceeds.
