Maitisong harmony fest a success

The event, which is meant to promote awareness and tolerance of other cultures present in Botswana, saw the participation of countries such as  Zambia, Serbia, the United Kingdom (UK), the United States of America (US) and France this year.

The River Walk mall, where the festival has been celebrated since it began, was adorned with stalls showcasing, among other things, the different foods and cultures of the participating countries.Zambia, for instance, celebrated their traditional food and the fact that they were recently crowned Africa's football champions.  The UK raised awareness about the upcoming Olympic Games, which they will host later this year.
