Kaone Kario now modelling in New York

Botswana's modelling export Kaone Kario, who had been based in Cape Town since winning the 2005 M-net NOKIA Face of Africa, has now relocated to New York and has lately been expressing her excitement and joy on her blog and tweeter about her New York experiences.

In her blog that is also on her tweeter page, Kaone declares that she is in New York to claim what is hers - success.

However, the model who holds a diploma in media studies, says since she started modelling, New York has been a market she avoided with everything she had. "Looking back I know it was probably fear holding me back, you know the fear that you just aren't pretty enough, just aren't skinny enough, bloody hell just aren't enough in all ways. Anyway thank God I let go of it."
