Local music Dee Jay (DJ) Kabo Mogotsi, well-known in music circles as K-Nice, has declared that female DJs are in demand in the Southern African region.

K-Nice based this statement on his recent visit to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he accompanied local female DJ Jam-N-I.  He said in Johannesburg, Jam-N-I was able to move the crowd to an extent she left those in attendance wondering whether she really comes from Botswana.  He said that in other Southern African countries save for Botswana, female DJs were in high demand.

K-Nice has said that because of this he has decided to mentor female DJs locally as a way of meeting the market demand for them.  The 28-year-old lad, who also happens to be the entertainment manager at Zoom Night Club, said his lessons take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the club.  He said the lessons start at 12pm.
