Fatherhood makes Ngoni's brush less provocative

Botswana's most celebrated painter perhaps the only provocative has sobered his brush on canvas.

The artist renowned for showcasing women in a manner most of his followers dub sensual has reduced this subject as evidenced by his collection for his upcoming exhibition.  In a previous interview Ngoni admitted that he likes painting beautiful and naked women because he "loves women".

However, he said his audience is of the view that this depicts that he likes women because 'he' is a male artist, but the overarching factor is that he likes beautiful subjects and beautiful women are part of the subject.
