Calabash Night Club hosts Namibian DJs

Three Namibian DJs are scheduled to grace the decks at Calabash Night Club this weekend.

The show by Tucazz from Namibia's TYS fm, Phamizo and Bee starts today.  The foreign DJs will be supported by Batswana artists at Phazz and Onneile's birthday bash.The organiser of the bash, Clement Mosomodi (DJ Phazz) said he decided to invite Namibians because he has established ties with them.  He has performed in Namibia before.Since 2011, he has been performing in Namibia every September 30 to entertain Batswana during their Independence Day celebrations.

The show is meant for Batswana who stay in Namibia.  Phazz emphasised that it is important to establish ties with people in different countries as it is good for growth.In addition to the Namibian DJs, Phazz said that Batswana artists like Team Distant, Jujuvine and T.H.A.B.O and DJs Galex, Obza, Fondofire will perform at Calabash.He said a music line-up can never be complete without local DJs because they too need to be given a chance to showcase their talent. The bash starts at 7pm and the cover charge is P40.
