Bontleng artists strut their stuff

Members of the Bontleng community had the chance to see for free, talented artists who live amongst them perform live this weekend during a clean up campaign that was organised by the Last Harvest church.

After the morning occasion that involved Bontleng residents going around picking up litter to better their community, the crowd was directed back to the Bontleng Hall for the formal occasion.

The formal occasion was, however, characterised by a lot of entertainment and it seems the event organisers deliberately roped in artists who live in Bontleng to entertain their fellow people.  A very interesting performance came from the Bosele Drama Group.  Bosele's act was based on encouraging members of Bontleng to keep their environment clean, as was the day's occasion.
