BDF behind the success of famous artists

FRANCISTOWN: Most of Botswana's successful artists are products of the Botswana Defence Force (BDF), Showbiz has learnt after an assessment of the most famous and successful artists.

They include the likes of Lister Boleseng, our jazz sensational and the newly introduced Chedza Fani, who recently showcased his beautiful skills in jazz though his first album, I Am.

It is not only in jazz though, because there are also kwasa-kwasa kings, Frank Lesokwane (Franco) and Jeff Matheatau, who have even retired from the army to enjoy the profits of their success in the music industry.

The Projects Magazine today launched The Future of Mining Summit, set to become the country’s premier mining conference. The event is scheduled for 12th and 13th of June 2024, at Boipuso Hall, Fairgrounds in Gaborone.
