FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Defence Force (BDF) rocked their visiting counterparts from Zimbabwean National Army (ZNA) who came into the country to participate in army games at the Donga camp this past weekend.

Although the day was a bright one filled with happiness for the general attendants, there was much tension amongst ZNA and BDF contestants. It was clear that the results of the games were to blame for the tension. Things, however, cheered up a little when everyone was requested to freshen up and attend the evening programme, which was to be concluded with a dinner, refreshments and music after of the prize giving in which most awards were given to the BDF.

The evening show granted everyone happiness, especially to the visiting counterparts and guests for they were showered with the unforgettable.  It did not take long for the BDF Band to exhibit their exquisite talent and skill by composing melodious, slow and fulfilling tunes that were a precious gift to the ears of the listener. The visitors were indeed thrilled, one could tell by their heads that kept swinging to the rhythm of the music. Although they are known to be fond of their fast music known popularly as Mozimbabwe, this time around they forgot all about the home tunes.  It was not long until our friends could not take it anymore, considering a little intoxication from the refreshments provided. The guests dancing to the wonderful music of the BDF Band soon swamped the floor.
