Batswana designers to attend Berlin Fashion Week

They have been invited along side other 11 fashion multipliers, specialised journalists and bloggers across Africa.The purpose of the visit is to introduce African designers to the German fashion industry and to promote fashion from Africa and the Diaspora, which is diverse, young, urban and combines high quality standards with a global orientation.It is also intended to establish a networking platform and to foster knowledge exchange between fashion designers, fashion bloggers and producers from Africa and the Diaspora.
"This is really exciting to have one of our fashion stylist and blogger recognised as far as Germany to come and be a part of this special group of influential people in Africa, because bloggers too are important in this age. I look forward to networking and am really thankful to the German office. As a designer it's important to network on future prospects in Berlin, and possibly work on bringing Botswana designers to Berlin through our platform in Botswana," says Koketso Chiepe.
