The Botswana poet performed at the Glastonbury Festival (June 23-27) - Somerset, the BBC Radio 4 Glastonbury poetry diaries, Apples and Snakes festival, and Farrago Summer Poetry Slam in London. And Words stage as one of the four international poets on the programme. " I was doing the festival for the second time, the first tim being last year. Helen Gregory, who manages the stage at the festival, receives hundreds of applications each year and I feel honoured that I never had to apply. The Glastonbury festival is the biggest field festival in the world," she told Mmegi in Gaborone yesterday.
