American RnB crooner billed for GICC

Seven-time American Grammy awards nominee, Joe Thomas, is billed to perform at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) on July 6 for a one-night show only courtesy of Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL).

The Rhythm and Blues (R&B) singer has nine albums under his belt that have earned him many accolades including the 2009 iTunes award for Best R&B Album "Signature", BET Awards 2001 Best R&B Male Artist nomination and many other nominations.

Local fanatics, who have been following his music, will no doubt be treated to the man's immense talent in music.Thomas got his big break in the late '80s while working in a gospel music store and singing in church. After his encounter with producer Vincent Herbert he released his debut album, Everything, in 1993, which included many hit singles, among them the number 10 R&B hit, I'm In Luv.
