New kwaito kid on the block

One of the new entrants in the music scene, Letso Mafhoko has released a 10-track album called OM TAKA 7. In the title-track - Om Taka 7 - the artist swears his allegiance to his kasi, Extension 7 otherwise known as White City where he was born and bred.

Although the artist says he no longer stays in the kasi, it is clear that he still has fond memories of the place. The song, like most of his compositions, is laced with Tsotsitaal, which he calls Kasi lingo and it is a good song that deserves its status as the title track.
Tracks two and three, Ha Monate and Squbu are feel-good songs about girls, partying, boozing, and grooving.

In 'Squbu', Sesame, a female vocalist, adds magic to the song with her captivating voice.
Sheba is one of the songs to look out for in this album. The song features Bakkie and Peter who have got powerful voices.
