When Sedireng Mothibatsela's grandmother, Miriam Nono Mosaka died some 10 years ago, she was so devastated that she sat down and penned a poem titled 'Heaven' or 'Izulu'. The 30-year-old artist found solace in the poem that reads in part:

"Hai, mnatanami, we have swallowed a bitter pill!"

After writing the poem, the artist put it away safely as according to her, she does not normally share her writings with anyone.
