Poetic Omnibus delivers Ghetto poetry nights

FRANCISTOWN: A group of poets residing in Francistown, going by the name Poetic Omnibus have started monthly poetry nights, which are held at Diggers Inn under different themes.

Poetic Omnibus is a movement founded by Obakeng Kagiso to provide a platform for poetry performances and poetry writing and has to date 12 bonafide members. The group also aims at growing talent in different specs of arts including martial arts.

Kagiso said distinct themes in respective events give poets diversity to express themselves and broaden their scope. In the inaugural event back in December the theme was ‘Festive fever’ followed by ‘Poetry flair’ in January and this month the theme is ‘Power’.
