Zika virus: 2.2 billion people in 'at risk' areas

The Zika virus, which is spread by Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, triggered a global health emergency this year.
Last week the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that the virus causes severe birth defects.
It is not uncommon in this part of the world for parents to actually punish their children when they show signs of depression associating it with issues of indiscipline, and as a result, the poor child will be lashed or given some kind of punishment.
