Malawi: President calls cancelled election win 'death of democracy'

On Monday, the court annulled the result of the election last May of which Mr Mutharika was declared the winner.
Judges said there had been vote-tampering and correction fluid was used to alter the results.
Acting Agriculture Minister, Edwin Dikoloti, is right in saying opening an export-ready facility whilst Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) is still spreading would risk getting the whole country blacklisted before a single carcass leaves the door.A ban like that would break the already stressed nation.
