The Core Beliefs Of Champions

After interviewing thousands of people Mike Lipkin distilled the information and identified what he termed the core beliefs of champions. Although his survey sample was based on the South African population, the findings are relevant to us all. Being a champion is not a product of nationality and neither is it influenced by race or ethnicity. What differentiates a champion from the rest are the empowering beliefs that drive the life of the champion.

In essence these empowering beliefs are personal truths. It is personal to the extent that it is a belief not necessarily shared by many people, but that one holds in the inner most part of his being and that cannot be shaken away even under the most testing of times. It is also a truth in the sense that the believer holds it to be true and does not doubt it. There may be scant evidence to support or refute its veracity but to the believer it is unquestionably true. In this issue we are going to examine some of these core beliefs. As we do so it is important that you ask yourself the question: To what extent do I believe this to be true.
