We shouldn't think like Africans

For some reason, I like South African President Jay Zee 'aka' Msholozi. I have chosen to ignore what his compatriots, especially those in politics and media think of him, and what they write about him.

I like him because he has got everything that can make a man happy. Men are funny, they are easily excitable and can be at peace once they have all those things that Msholozi have. If you are a man, think of those things that he has and put yourself in his shoes. He acquired them legally. It is a pity that there is some third force which is on a rampage to investigate him, but that won't work, he did nothing wrong.

Men are adventurous, they can leave their spouses for hours on trail of a six-pack from a friend, irrespective of the consequences they may face upon return home. A stranger, I met this week, who lives in the barracks just a few kilometers outside the city centre confided in me recently that, where men stay in a group, they can be worse than an atomic bomb. He told me that they have had to call an ambulence several times last week after guys engaged in a competition to out-beat each other on who can eat the most chilly food, the price for, being a six pack.
