In its latest update, the Botswana Football Association indicated that the team had passed Luanda destined for Francistown, with the Zebras' arrival now expected at 11:45am. It had earlier been reported that the team will arrive around 9am. It has been a difficult period for the team that faced travel challenges following the opening Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritania. The BFA had to request CAF to move the game to a later kick-off and the continental mother body obliged.
