The Zebras are expected to touch down at the Philip Matante Airport in Francistown just before midday as they race against time to adequately prepare for their clash against Egypt, which has been moved from 3pm to 6pm.

In its latest update, the Botswana Football Association indicated that the team had passed Luanda destined for Francistown, with the Zebras' arrival now expected at 11:45am. It had earlier been reported that the team will arrive around 9am. It has been a difficult period for the team that faced travel challenges following the opening Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritania. The BFA had to request CAF to move the game to a later kick-off and the continental mother body obliged. However, the impact of their last minute arrival could be telling as their opponents, the Pharaohs are well rested after arriving in Botswana on Sunday.
