It is now 12 years – and counting – since the Zebras’ finest moment. The preceding period has largely been characterised by pain and now, with Mogomotsi ‘Teenage’ Mpote in charge, the Zebras will look to kick back to life, reports Mmegi Sport Staff Writer, MQONDISI DUBE Group J

With nearly half of Africa’s 54 countries now eligible to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations finals, the Zebras are fancying their chances.

But as the engines for the 2023 AFCON finals rev after a lengthy pit stop, Mpote’s charges find themselves three points off the top spot.
