FRANCISTOWN: TAFIC will be looking to break their winless run in the First Division North (FDN) league when they visit third-placed Maun Terrors at Maun Sports Complex tomorrow afternoon.

All FDN fixtures will be played tomorrow (Saturday). Relegated from the Premier League last season, TAFIC have found life hard in the First Division. Ahead of the start of the season, Matjimenyenga boys, as TAFIC are affectionately called by their supporters, were tipped to be among the contenders for promotion to the elite league. However, their two consecutive losses in (in the opening fixtures) the league raised doubts over their ability to successfully earn promotion back to the Premier League.

TAFIC lost their first fixture to Nico United by 4-1 in Selebi-Phikwe before succumbing to a 1-0 surprise home loss against rookies Chadibe FC. They will not have it easy against Terrors, who have collected maximum points from their opening two fixtures. Terrors, who have assembled a very young side, are having one of their best starts to the league in as many years. They are behind Chadibe FC and Nico United on goal difference. League leaders Nico United will play host to fourth-placed Calendar Stars.
