Slumping Nico dismiss coach

After a promising start to the season, Nico United has hit a rough patch resulting in the management taking the drastic decision to axe head coach, Botshelo Pelokgosi.

Nico are winless in five matches, which has left them eighth on the FNB Premiership log with 21 points from 18 games. The straw that broke the camel's break was the weekend's 2-1 defeat to previously winless Chadibe FC. "The results are not forthcoming. We sat down and agreed to part ways with the coach. Patrick 'Disono' Molefe will be in charge until a new coach takes over. We have identified someone and we expect to make the appointment soon," Nico chairperson, Busani Segweni, told MmegiSport.

Molefe's first assignment is against bottom side, Uniao Flamengo Santos at the Sam Sono Stadium today.
