Rollers players on strike ahead of derby

One of the country's glamour clubs is facing a torrid time after an acrimonious split with investor, Sebata Holdings, amidst accusations of unfulfilled promises. Sebata was due to pay players salaries until the end of the season.

Sebata Holdings spokesperson, Nqobile Ndlovu admitted to MmegiSport that they are facing cashflow challenges, which they are in the process of rectifying. Whilst Rollers have chosen not to comment on the matter of their split with Sebata, sources indicate that the company was struggling to meet its obligations, leaving the club with piling debts. Rollers will finish the season trophy-less after falling way behind in the title race and also being dumped out of the Orange FA Cup.
