The moment has finally arrived, and Raguin is down under in Melbourne, where he is rubbing shoulders with tennis' elite players who have gathered for the season-opening Australian Open. Raguin's presence in Melbourne is not ordinary. The debut not only reflected recent improvements in form and consistency but also underscored the growing belief that Raguin belongs at the highest level of the sport.

Playing under the bright lights and intense atmosphere of Rod Laver Arena precincts, Raguin showed flashes of the qualities that earned a place in the main draw. He is one of only four African players involved in the main draw.
