PASSOBO mulls Para National Championship return

Fresh from a record-breaking outing at the World Para Athletics Championships, the Paralympics Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) is looking to revive the local para sports scene with the long-awaited return of the National Para Sports Championships.

Team Botswana recently returned from New Delhi, India, with a single medal, a bronze and courtesy of T13 men’s 400m sprinter, Bose Mokgwathi.

The nine-member delegation, which included eight athletes and one guide, reached four finals in total, the best performance in the country’s history at the competition.
