Notwane started the New Year with a convincing 2-0 win over Broadhurst United in a First Division South clash played at the SSG ground on Saturday.

Despite the win, Notwane coach, Thaloba Nthaga was not impressed with the overall manner in which his charges went about their business. Nthaga felt his boys were not clinical in front of goal as several gilt edged chances went begging.

“With football you need to be clinical and this is where my boys are lacking as we could have finished this game in the first half. We had many chances that could have put the game to rest,” he said.
