Former Zebras defender, Obuile Oscar Ncenga is making great progress and recovering well after sustaining injuries following a road mishap early this year.

FRANCISTOWN: The accident happened when a vehicle carrying members of Mosetse Football Club (MSC) overturned. Ncenga was amongst people who sustained serious injuries and spent some time at Nyangabwe Referral Hospital (NRH).

This week, Ncenga said he is optimistic that he will make full recovery. Ncenga sustained injuries on his back, head, and right leg. He is still struggling to walk because of the injury. “I have made good progress in terms of my recovery. I am feeling better now. My focus is on attaining full recovery and leading a normal life again,” Ncenga said at a press conference to update the media on a charity tournament that will be held in his honour tomorrow in Mosetse.
