Botswana Premier League (BPL) newbies, Matebele FC have confirmed Emmanuel Thabe as the first signing having parted ways with some key players in the ongoing transfer window period.

Matebele gained promotion from the second-tier league and the club is swiftly boosting up its squad ahead of the league debut. Thabe, formerly with CRACKiT City Polar, was one of the key performers in the Debswana First Division South League in the previous campaign.

The speedy forward has also played for Mochudi Centre Chiefs and has sealed a permanent move to the Nest. The Kgatleng-based side is catching up with the transfer window frenzy after starting slowly in the market. Matebele recently parted ways with central midfielders, Rebaone Modisaotsile and Lesego Motlhankwe.
