Madagascar opponent for GU in Confed Cup

The Red power: GU play Madagascar's Elgeco Plus in the Confederations Cup PIC:GU FACEBOOK

Gaborone United will face an opponent from Madagascar, Elgeco Plus in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.

GU will participate in the Confederations Cup after winning the Orange FA Cup. The first leg takes place on the weekend of August 18 with the return fixture played a week later.

If GU makes it from the preliminary they will face South African side, SuperSport United in the first round. SuperSport received a bye to the first round. The first leg of the first round is scheduled for the weekend of September 15 with the return taking place a fortnight later.
