Sua Flamingoes coach, Nikola Kavazovic, has repeated his claim that this season's title charge will involve only three teams, which excludes Jwaneng Galaxy and Township Rollers.

Without mentioning Galaxy and Rollers, he said his side is expected to battle it out with Mochudi Centre Chiefs and Gaborone United for the domestic honours. Talking to SportMonitor at the end of an absorbing and tactical 1-1 battle against Chiefs on Sunday, Kavazovic said in his view, the three sides are in contention for the title. Asked if teams like Rollers are not in the mix, the Serbian refused to mention names but insisted that Flamingoes, Chiefs and GU are the only three teams who have a realistic chance of landing the title. "These are the two teams, with GU who will fight for winning the league. With due respect, I don't see a fourth team that is capable to compete with those three teams. We played a direct competitor for the league away, in front of their difficult supporters and I am pretty sure my brother Piro (Pontsho Moloi) under the same circumstances will be happy with a draw in Sowa," he said.

It was a battle of wits between two sides that played open entertaining football, that had the good crowd in awe. "It had to be a tactical game because me and Piro have played each other on countless times. He knows my philosophy and I know his. And yes, it was a very tactical game, all we wanted was to prevent (Gilbert) Baruti's passes behind our back four but we did not come to the party in the first 20 minutes, as he did that all the time," Kavazovic said. He said after that his players settled and grew into the game. Chiefs controlled the opening 20 minutes and frequently used Ronald Fortune's wing as route to Sua goal. It was came as no surprise when they took the lead through Tefo Mofokeng, but Sua hit back at the other end, equalizing through Mcebisi Moyo's headed effort. From then on, it became an open contest, with moments when the visitors were on the ascendancy. In the end, a share of spoils was a fair reflection of the afternoon's proceedings. Chiefs coach, Pontsho Moloi, said they could have wrapped up the game after dominating the opening proceedings. "With due respect to the opponent, I think we deserved more. We deserved three points honestly. We could have finished the game in the first 20 minutes. But I am more than happy, I can take the the point and go home. We did not play just any other team, we played Sua Flamingoes, head coach, my coach Nikola, with so much quality players as well," Moloi said.
