Rolling out opportunities: BoFiNet continues to empower citizens through access to data services
The P43 million initiative marks a significant step in bridging the digital divide and advancing Botswana's national development agenda.
A statement from the parastatal says the project has connected 191 customers across the three villages. These comprise 68 in Moshupa, 66 in Ramotswa-Taung and 57 in Thamaga, including businesses, government offices and residential areas. Beyond connectivity, the project created 210 jobs for Batswana during construction, demonstrating infrastructure investment's power to stimulate local economies.
