The pair of Jack Sekao and George Chiswaniso bounced back following the Namibian competition to win a gold medal at the CAVB Zone VI second series that was held in Mozambique over the weekend.

Sekao and Chiswaniso are high performing competitors, having won the 2024 Zone VI Beach volleyball Tour Leg four and secured bronze medal at the 13th African Games in Ghana, still in 2024. The pair rose to the occasion and played exceptionally well, ultimately defeating Mozambique in the final to the gold medal. It was an impressive performance compared to their outing in the first Series held in Windhoek, Namibia, where the results were not as strong.

The rising pair of Trevor Mandua and Baleofi Moswiiwa, displayed great determination throughout the tournament. They progressed well in the competition before being knocked out in the quarterfinals by Mozambique.
