Gunners, Matebele content after stalemate

Matebele FC and Extension Gunners coaches were left content following their weekend’s 1-1 draw in a fast paced FNB Premiership encounter at the GU Stadium. Both teams find themselves at the wrong end of the table early into the season. The stalemate did little to improve their rankings.

The Saturday encounter, played under overcast conditions, was an affair of two halves, with the hosts dominating early on.

It was Gunners that took the lead through Kabelo Babusi in the 14th minute before Yashe Dambe equalised for the home side 15 minutes later.
